I think hybrids could start selling really good if they just made them look nice. They should make sports car versions or something. And I think they would sell extremely good because the hybrids price range doesnt extend past the low 20,000%26#039;s. I mean hybrids are so good on gas but I would never get one because they are so freakin ugly. If they just made one look sporty like a mustang or camaro or something!! omg

Reply:There is no difference between the usual gasoline version of a vehicle, and the hybrid with the except of the under hood power train.





Look at the 2008 Ford Escape for example. Now look at the hybrid version. See any difference beyond the trim piece that says hybrid, and the price tag?
Reply:Well the only dedicated hybrid model sold in America today is the Toyota Prius.





The Civic Hybrid is exactly the same car as the regular Civic. So is the Aura, Escape, Malibu and Altima.





The reason Ford doesn%26#039;t make a Mustang hybrid is because people don%26#039;t think of fuel economy when they think of Mustang, they think of sporty and fast. No reason confuse the market.

However, when you add up your gas savings and realize how seldom you are at the pump, they grow on you. :)

Anyway, they don%26#039;t sell more right now because it doesn%26#039;t make sense financially for people to get themselves into a brand new car, with higher monthly payments just for lower gas mileage. Unless you drive a Hummer (probably one of the ugliest cars out there) or some other behemoth of a vehicle, it doesn%26#039;t make sense. It%26#039;s smarter to pay off the current vehicle and just get wise and careful about driving habits.
Reply:It would be nice if you actually knew what you were talking about before you asked stupid questions. The RX400h, GS400h, and LS400h are all hybrids and all look good. There is an electric sports car out called the Tesla Roadster. A quick google search will show you all of them. Hybrids are selling fine btw.
